Following a recent election supervised by the Community Development Authority (CDA) in Dubai, Mr. Ericson Reyes, the re-elected President of the Filipino Social Club-Dubai (FilSoC), has issued a statement to express his gratitude and share his vision for the club.
“I want to use this opportunity to thank our members for electing me to be your President of the Filipino Social Club (FilSoC),” said Reyes.
The FilSoC, a Dubai Government-regulated non-profit and non-political group, was established under a license issued by the CDA on 24th June 2019. The organization is committed to serving the Filipino community and Overseas Filipinos in Dubai.
Reyes outlined the ambitions he holds for the club during his tenure: “I want to assure you that together with my Board of Directors we will continue to bring into higher heights our programs and activities for all overseas Filipinos which are meant to bring overall improvement.”
Urging unity and increased participation from the Filipino community, Reyes stated, “I am appealing to you to join us on this journey and be an official member. As a Filipino, this is your community and you can do so much more to make everyone happy.”
Reyes ended on a hopeful note: “God willing, there will be light at the end of the tunnel for every challenge that we are facing here abroad.”
