Former PBA and Gilas Pilipinas player Marc Pingris recently took to social media to address circulating rumors regarding his alleged involvement with actress Kim Rodriguez. On his Instagram account, Pingris clarified that the only interactions they’ve had were during basketball events where Rodriguez was present as a muse for their team.
“Walang katotohanan ang mga lumalabas na balita tungkol sa amin ni Ms. Kim Rodriguez. Walang namamagitan sa aming dalawa gaya ng sinasabi ng ibang tao,” Pingris stated, debunking any further speculation about their relationship.
Acknowledging the concerns raised by others, Pingris expressed gratitude and emphasized the well-being of his family, particularly his relationship with his wife, Danica Sotto. “OK kami ng pamilya ko. Wag na po tayo magpakalat ng mga balita na hindi totoo. Humihingi po kami ng respeto para hindi madamay ang mga anak namin ni Danica. Salamat po at God bless po,” he added.
Marc Pingris and Danica Sotto, who got married in March 2007, share three children: Jean Michael, Anielle Micaela, and Jean-Luc.
Meanwhile, Kim Rodriguez, known for her roles in various television series such as “Tween Hearts,” “Ika-5 Utos,” “The Lost Recipe,” and “Inday Will Always Love You,” has yet to comment on the matter.
