What started as a simple idea to bring the Filipino community together through basketball continues to grow into something bigger.
Viral Lab Productions — Powered by TBON successfully concluded the Viral Lab One Day League Basketball Season 2, marking another milestone for the Dubai-based Filipino content creator and production group.
Following the success of its inaugural season, Season 2 returned bigger, stronger, and more competitive, bringing together 10 teams for a full day of basketball, sportsmanship, friendship, entertainment, and community spirit.
From the opening games to the championship showdown, players gave their best on the court while families, friends, sponsors, and supporters came together to create an atmosphere that represented what the league is all about—competition with camaraderie and community at its heart.
At the end of an action-packed tournament, Real Express Interiors Team emerged as the Viral Lab One Day League Basketball Season 2 Champions, earning the title after an impressive tournament performance.

MORE THAN A BASKETBALL LEAGUE
For Niño “Ninvlogs” Ortega, CEO of Viral Lab Productions, the continued success of the One Day League represents more than another completed event.
It is proof of what can happen when people, businesses, creators, athletes, and supporters come together behind one vision.
“Season 1 gave us the confidence to continue. Season 2 showed us how much further we can take this,” Ortega said.
“Hindi ito success ng isang tao lang. Every player, organizer, sponsor, partner, volunteer and supporter contributed to what we accomplished. This is something we built together.”
Viral Lab Productions began primarily as a platform for content creation, entertainment, short films, and collaborations. Through projects such as the One Day League Basketball, the organization continues to expand its vision beyond the camera by creating opportunities for people to connect in the real world.
The goal is not simply to organize another basketball tournament, but to create an event where Filipinos in the UAE can compete, meet new people, strengthen friendships, support local businesses, and become part of a growing community.
THE TEAM BEHIND SEASON 2
Behind the games and activities was a team of people who dedicated their time and effort to helping make Season 2 possible.
Viral Lab Productions proudly recognizes the support and contributions of Dyessie “Dadiyow” Kons, Nathaniel Franz Nueve, Adrian Valencia, Jane Caringal, Paula Chua, Maemay Aragon, Belle Albiola, Karelle Gaa, Arcee Nepomuceno, Gio Cabanlit, RJR Salunga, Charles Palmes, Mica Janel Justo, Gerick Camacho and many more members, friends, volunteers, and supporters who worked together throughout the event.
Whether their contribution happened on the court, behind the scenes, during preparations, through production, coordination, logistics, promotion, or simply by being present when help was needed, every effort became part of the success of Season 2.
“To my team, maraming salamat. An event like this doesn’t happen because of one person,” Ortega said.
“There are people working before the event starts, people working while everyone else is enjoying the games, and people who continue working even after the final buzzer. I am grateful to everyone who gave their time and effort to make our vision happen.”
