Mexican superstar Thalía shared a heartfelt message about her long-standing connection with Filipino audiences following a recent encounter with P-pop group BINI in Los Angeles.
The meeting took place during the Billboard Women in Music Awards, where both artists were among the recognized figures. Thalía later posted a photo with the group, describing the moment as meaningful given her history with fans in the Philippines.
“The Philippines is a country that has walked with me through the years, forming part of my history and who I am today. And the love they’ve given Marimar has been just endless,” she wrote.
“And suddenly, life meets us here, together with the beautiful BINI celebrating love, music and that universal language that connects us no matter borders,” she continued.
She also expressed appreciation for the group’s warm reception, adding, “so much love, for every hug, and for making me feel so loved.”
“Loved meeting you ladies!” she said.
In another post, the singer-actress shared a video recreating a nostalgic moment tied to Marimar, lip-syncing its theme song alongside BINI members.
Thalía, widely known for her roles in hit dramas that gained strong followings in Asia, was honored with the Icon Award at the same event, while BINI received recognition as this year’s Global Force honoree.
