Pataas ‘yong edad eh!” said the former senate president, which was echoed by some co-hosts with a playful “Pataas!”
However, the atmosphere changed when De Leon added, “Pataba… eh, pababa…” which failed to elicit laughter from his colleagues, including Vic Sotto who then prompted Ocampo to blow out her birthday cake candles.
