Saudi Arabia-based Filipino workers covered by the Migrant Workers Office in Jeddah will soon have a fully digital option for employment contract verification, with the Online Employment Contract Verification System set to become available to them on May 10.
The Department of Migrant Workers announced the development on May 6, marking another step in the platform’s ongoing expansion across major OFW destinations. The system, built in partnership with DataFlow Group and accessible at dmw.dataflowgroup.com, allows Balik-Manggagawa workers to submit documents and complete the verification process without visiting a government office in person.
Beyond paperless submission, the platform offers email status updates and a more guided application flow — features intended to reduce errors and uncertainty during the process.
The Jeddah rollout follows the system’s earlier deployment in Dubai, where more than 30,000 contracts were processed since the pilot launched in July 2025, saving OFWs an estimated AED 2 million and roughly 137,500 hours in travel and queuing time. Hong Kong activated its own OECVS access on April 30.
Under a memorandum of agreement signed in January 2026 between the labor department and DataFlow Group, the platform is scheduled to reach Singapore and additional sites across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia before the year ends.
The DMW has advised workers to prepare their documents in advance and access the portal on launch day.
