Five musicians from Resound’s 2007 roster will share a stage again on Sunday, October 4, when the band holds a one-night reunion concert at Boracay Nightclub inside Asiana Hotel in Deira, Dubai.
Returning are vocalists Anchell Antonio, Sheryl Yap and Aldrich Centeno, drummer Dhim Bueno, and Leo Alcantara, who plays saxophone and flute and also sings. Keyboardist Jarris Pedroso, billed by organizers as a legacy member, joins them, while newcomers JC Elumacas and Yves Gonzales take over bass and lead guitar.
Zarah Gutierrez Group of Companies is producing the show, with Love Josie on board as partner.
The band built its following among overseas Filipino workers who spent their nights off at Chikka Grill, the venue now operating as Kitakits, where Resound played from 2007 onward. Organizers are pitching the concert as a homecoming for the patrons, friends and community members who followed the group during those years.
The setlist will draw from that era: R&B hits, slow jams and Filipino band standards tied to the Chikka Grill and Kitakits nights, along with soul numbers and throwback jamming. Anchell, Sheryl, Aldrich and Leo will handle frontline vocals together.
Reservations and VIP tables are being taken through an RSVP link. The release does not list ticket prices or a show time.
Three members of the original lineup are not on the 2026 bill: keyboardist Lei Alcazar, bassist Jamin Echin and lead guitarist Tristan Dela Torre.
