The only cinema chain in the Middle East offering the screenings, VOX Cinemas has announced it will broadcast two live viewing events tied to BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ — one sourced from Goyang on 11 April and another from Japan on 18 April, both at 1:45 p.m. GST.
Tickets for both screenings are available at select VOX locations across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar, presented by Trafalgar Releasing and produced by HYBE and BIGHIT MUSIC.
The concerts represent the group’s first full tour together since PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE ran from 2021 to 2022, with all seven members — RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook — performing on what is described as a 360°, in-the-round stage configuration. The live viewing format brings that setup to cinema screens alongside the group’s fifth studio album.
VOX Cinemas has a history of broadcasting Korean pop events in the region, having previously screened solo and group BTS projects including j-hope’s HOPE ON STAGE Japan tour, SUGA’s Agust D TOUR ‘D-DAY’ THE MOVIE, and the 2022 PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE Seoul live viewing. The exhibitor’s 2019 BTS World Tour: Love Yourself in Seoul screening sold out.
