The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) will hold an onsite competency assessment from June 22 to June 26, 2024, at the Power Technical Training Centre, located at Villa 183, 6D St. Al Satwa, Dubai, UAE.
This event aims to provide a practical evaluation of skills in a real-world setting, making it accessible for those who might not be able to travel to testing centers. Onsite assessments are ideal for groups such as overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) preparing for employment abroad, employees seeking certification within their company, and residents in remote areas.
TESDA’s approach enables assessors to observe participants directly in their working environments, offering a more relevant and immediate assessment of their capabilities. This method benefits all involved by ensuring that skills are evaluated where they are most effectively demonstrated, bringing convenience and efficiency to the certification process.
