Abu Dhabi has been named one of the top five global cities to work in, according to the Boston Consulting Group’s latest report. Surpassing cities like Berlin, Singapore, and Barcelona, the UAE capital now stands fourth on the prestigious list. London continues to lead as the top city for work, a position it has held since 2014, with Amsterdam and New York completing the top five.
The report, part of BCG’s Dream Destinations and Mobility Trends, surveyed 150,000 people across 188 countries about their preferred work destinations and the reasons behind their choices. Economic stability, career progression, and quality of life were cited as the top motivators for relocating.
This achievement adds to a string of accolades for Abu Dhabi, which was also recently ranked the world’s safest city and the 10th on the Smart City Index 2024 by the International Institute for Management Development.
