A series of financial relief measures targeting Ajman’s tourism industry has been set in motion following approval by Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, on Thursday.
Among the most immediate provisions is a six-month deferral of tourism-related fees beginning March 1, 2026, giving establishments breathing room on payments that would otherwise be due. The package also waives late fines connected to licence renewals and introduces interest-free instalment options for outstanding obligations.
Tourism establishments stand to benefit further from exemptions on select permits and exhibition fees, while museums will admit visitors free of charge through the end of 2026.
Ajman’s government framed the measures as part of a wider push to sharpen the emirate’s appeal to investors and strengthen ties with the private sector. Officials said the package is consistent with the emirate’s strategy to position itself as a competitive destination for both tourism and quality investment.
