Twenty Filipino workers have emerged as finalists in the Dakilang Manggagawang Pilipino (DMP) sa UAE 2026, advancing from an initial pool of more than 200 nominees drawn from across the Emirates.
The finalists cleared the program’s first screening and now move into the Deliberation Round, where each will present their personal story to a panel of judges. That session is set for August 23, 2026, at the Khalidiya Hotel.
Organizers said the panel will weigh more than achievements and credentials during the deliberation. Judges will look to understand the experiences behind each nominee—their struggles, sacrifices, and contributions to family, work, community, and faith—and the values that have shaped their years of work in the UAE.
The search is built on four criteria. Dakila sa Pamilya recognizes workers who show love, responsibility, and sacrifice for their families. Dakila sa Trabaho honors dedication, integrity, and excellence in the workplace. Dakila sa Komunidad singles out those who serve beyond their professional duties. Dakila sa Pananampalataya highlights individuals whose faith and compassion inspire others.
From the 20, the panel will select a Top 10. Those finalists will move to the next stage and compete for the title of Grand Winner of the Dakilang Manggagawang Pilipino sa UAE.
Each of the 20 carries an account of perseverance and service that organizers say reflects the wider strength of the Filipino community in the Emirates. Ten will advance from the coming deliberation, and one will be named the program’s Grand Winner.
