UAE residents can now apply for Morocco e-visas: Here’s how

Residents of the UAE looking to visit Morocco now have a smoother path to obtaining their visas. The Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Abu Dhabi has introduced e-visas, making the process more convenient.

As of Monday, March 4, the embassy announced the availability of e-visas for UAE residents. Detailed guidelines for application were disclosed on Sunday, March 17.

To qualify for the e-visa, applicants must possess a valid Emirates ID with at least 180 days of residency. Additionally, the necessary documents include a copy of the UAE residence visa, a passport valid for more than 90 days, and a passport-sized photograph.

The e-visa permits a 30-day stay with a validity of 180 days for a single entry. The standard processing time is three business days, costing Dhs280.64. For expedited processing within one business day, applicants can opt for a fee of Dhs401.

Applying for the e-visa is straightforward. Interested individuals can begin the process by visiting access-maroc.ma. The website guides applicants through a series of steps, including email verification, form filling, document uploading, and payment.

It’s worth noting that UAE nationals enjoy visa-free entry to Morocco for up to 90 days. However, this new e-visa option provides added convenience for residents planning their travels.

Morocco is a popular destination known for its rich culture, diverse landscapes, and vibrant markets.
