UAE customs seize 11 kg of drugs in airport smuggling bust

The Ras Al Khaimah Customs Department has successfully intercepted two separate attempts to smuggle nearly 11 kilograms of drugs into the country over the past week. The illicit substances were discovered concealed in the bags of two passengers upon their arrival at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport.

Customs officers, relying on their security instincts and extensive training, became suspicious of the two individuals and decided to thoroughly inspect their luggage. Their meticulous attention to detail revealed that the contraband had been hidden in a highly professional manner.

Following the discovery, the seized drugs and the apprehended individuals were promptly handed over to the relevant authorities to undergo further security procedures.
