Skydive Dubai returns to the skies with a buy-one-get-one deal for residents

A ceremonial freefall from 13,000 feet marked the return of one of Dubai’s best-known adventure attractions, as Skydive Dubai resumed operations at its Palm Dropzone with a ‘Raise the Flag’ jump over Palm Jumeirah.

The aerial display, which offered sweeping views of the Palm Jumeirah coastline, served as the company’s public signal that normal business has resumed following a period of suspension. The Palm Dropzone will initially operate on a Friday-to-Sunday schedule, with the company describing its resumption as a measured, safety-coordinated rollout.

To coincide with its return, Skydive Dubai is running a limited promotion for UAE residents from April 24 to May 3. Those who book a tandem skydive at the Palm Dropzone will receive a complimentary second jump for a companion — who may be either a resident or a tourist — at no extra charge. The promotional rate effectively cuts the standard ticket price in half; a tandem skydive at the Palm Dropzone is ordinarily priced at AED 2,199 per person.

Participants can expect freefall speeds reaching up to 193kmph during their descent, with aerial views taking in Dubai Marina, the Palm Jumeirah, and the broader city skyline.

Skydive Dubai’s reopening follows Global Village’s return to service earlier this week, adding to signs of renewed activity across Dubai’s tourism and leisure sector.
