Singapore Airlines has halted its direct services between Singapore and Dubai through April 30, citing the ongoing geopolitical situation in the Middle East.
The two affected routes are SQ494, which operates from Singapore to Dubai, and the return service SQ495. The airline issued the advisory on March 20 and cautioned that other flights in its network could also be disrupted as conditions develop.
Passengers holding tickets on the cancelled flights are entitled to a full refund of any unused fare or a seat on an alternative service. Those who purchased directly through Singapore Airlines can submit a request through the airline’s Assistance Request Form, while travelers who booked via travel agents or partner carriers are directed to those channels for rebooking or reimbursement.
The airline is urging affected passengers to keep their contact information current through the Manage Booking function on its website, or to sign up for mobile flight status notifications to stay informed of any further changes.
