Pilgrims planning to perform Umrah can now travel to Saudi Arabia repeatedly under a single visa, following the launch of a multiple-entry option by the Kingdom’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
The document stays valid for 365 days after it is issued, during which holders may cross into the country on multiple occasions provided they satisfy the applicable regulations. Total time spent inside the Kingdom across those trips is limited to 90 days.
Officials tied the rollout to Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Program, describing it as a step toward smoother entry procedures, a stronger experience for those coming to worship, and more efficient services, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
There are conditions attached to each trip. Holders are required to secure a service package for every visit, arranged through an approved provider on the Nusuk platform, and the length of that package cannot run past whatever validity remains on the visa. An Umrah permit must additionally be obtained through the Nusuk application before a traveler arrives.
The visa switches off automatically once a holder leaves the country, then becomes usable again after the necessary conditions are met ahead of the following trip.
One window remains closed to the visa entirely: it cannot be activated throughout the Hajj season, which runs from the first day of Dhu Al Qadah through the 13th of Dhu Al Hijjah.
