Philippines Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leo J. Cacdac sat down with Saudi Minister for Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi on 22 April 2026, with both officials voicing shared concern for the protection of overseas Filipino workers and their families as tensions persist across the region.
Al-Rajhi received Cacdac at the meeting, where the two discussed issues of common interest relating to OFW welfare and protection in the Kingdom.
Cacdac used the occasion to formally acknowledge Saudi Arabia’s sustained efforts in safeguarding Filipino workers, expressing appreciation for the Kingdom’s continued support amid the current situation in the Middle East.
