Philippine Airlines is set to expand its North American operations with additional flights to Vancouver, Toronto, and New York beginning either November or December 2026, ABS-CBN News reported.
The flag carrier already operates nonstop service between Manila and all three cities, which rank among its core long-haul markets on either side of the US-Canada border. The added flights would deepen capacity on routes serving large Filipino communities across the northeastern United States and central and western Canada.
The move fits a broader push by the airline to strengthen its trans-Pacific network heading into 2026. Philippine Airlines currently links Manila with Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, New York, Honolulu, Vancouver, and Toronto, and is preparing to open its first nonstop Manila–Chicago service in November, its eighth US gateway.
The expansion coincides with the carrier’s fleet modernization program built around the Airbus A350-1000, its flagship long-haul aircraft. Philippine Airlines took delivery of Southeast Asia’s first A350-1000 in late 2025 and received its second in May 2026, part of a nine-aircraft order with further deliveries scheduled through 2027. The aircraft, configured for 382 passengers across three cabin classes, has been progressively deployed on the airline’s North American routes, beginning with New York.
