Abu Dhabi’s roads are set to become a canvas for artistic expression, thanks to the talents of a Filipino artist from Sorsogon.
Von Aytona, a gifted artist known for his diverse range of artwork, has been commissioned to create captivating road markings in the prestigious housing complex in the capital.
The housing complex, known for its luxurious amenities and family-friendly environment, aims to enhance road safety while adding a touch of artistic charm to its premises.
Von has been entrusted with the responsibility of designing and painting the pedestrian lane in a manner that showcases the area as a “kids zone.”
“It is intended for kids in the area to change the aura, to inform motorists that there are kids there,” Von explained, emphasizing the importance of making the surroundings safe and engaging for the younger residents.
Originally from Sorsogon, a province in the Philippines, Von has an impressive artistic background and is widely recognized for his creative prowess.
Currently, Von is associated with Floral Essence, where he managed floral decoration designs and events.
In 2023, his exceptional talents did not go unnoticed, and he was honored with the prestigious Golden Visa, acknowledging him as one of the finest artists in the UAE.
Von’s artistic repertoire is extensive, ranging across 16 different mediums, showcasing his versatility and mastery of various techniques.
From oil portraits, charcoal and pastel creations to acrylic paintings, caricatures, sculptures, grp styro moldings, airbrush paintings, wall murals, landscaping car paintings, and now road marking artworks, Von has demonstrated his ability to breathe life into any medium he touches.
Before embarking on his solo journey, Von was the proud owner of Artattack UAE, which further solidified his position in the artistic community of Abu Dhabi.
