Emergency responders were deployed to the area after air defence units neutralised the incoming projectile, with debris scattering into the neighbourhood. The injuries sustained were described as minor.

The latest incident brings into sharper relief the mounting toll of the Iranian missile campaign on the civilian population. Since hostilities began, two UAE Armed Forces personnel have lost their lives in the line of duty, while six civilians — nationals of Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Palestine — have also died.
