Filipinos planning a trip to the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai need a confirmed appointment before they arrive, the post stressed, as it began routing all bookings through its official Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/PHinDubai.
Walk-ins remain barred for most clients. The consulate will still accommodate senior citizens, persons with disabilities carrying an ID, visibly pregnant women, kasambahays or domestic workers, and children aged seven and below without prior booking. Individuals filing a report of death, along with those facing other urgent matters, may also be entertained provided they can present proof.
The change comes while the consulate’s own website is offline for system maintenance. The advisory did not say when the site is expected to be restored.
