He described knighthood as a profound commitment to service, encouraging the new members to emulate the example of Dr. Jose P. Rizal by exemplifying character, integrity, and selfless dedication to the welfare of others. He further stressed that true leadership is measured not by titles or positions, but by one’s willingness to serve, uplift others, and make a meaningful difference in the community.
In closing, the Vice Consul stated that the true legacy of Dr. Jose P. Rizal cannot be measured solely by the monuments erected in his honor or the timeless literary masterpieces he authored, such as Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo.
