A hundred cloud kitchen spaces will be made available at no cost to homegrown restaurant brands in the UAE, under a new program launched by food delivery platform talabat.
The offer runs rent-free until September 2026 and is open to brands that were first established in the UAE, have been operating for at least two years, can show at least 12 months of delivery activity on any platform, and maintain a minimum of one physical location in the country.
Talabat says the eligibility requirements are designed to ensure participating brands have the capacity to scale, so the program delivers measurable results rather than spreading support too thin.
“Homegrown restaurants are at the heart of the UAE’s food scene, and supporting their growth is a priority for us,” said Simonida Subotic, Managing Director of talabat UAE. “With this initiative, we’re removing key barriers and giving our partners the space and visibility they need to scale, while continuing to strengthen the wider ecosystem.”
The company framed the move as a response to the pressures facing locally founded restaurants, which it says contribute to employment, local supply chains, and community life across the country. By absorbing rental costs, talabat aims to free up resources for restaurant partners to invest in operations and customer experience instead.
