Running alongside the day-long independence celebration from 8:00 a.m., the Dubayans HR Corner is designed to give OFWs practical tools to compete in the UAE job market. Visitors can attend a UAE labour law briefing covering workers’ rights and key legal responsibilities, a CV writing workshop, and an interview coaching session with tips to boost confidence and performance. CV mentors will also be available on-site for one-on-one feedback to help applicants strengthen their applications.
Perhaps the most in-demand offering: a free professional headshot service, where photographers will be on standby to take job-ready photos for use in applications and professional profiles.
All services at the Dubayans HR Corner are free and exclusively for Filipinos.
Kalayaan 2026, organized by Emirates Loves Philippines, Infinite Communities, and The Filipino Channel, carries the theme “Feel the Freedom. Share the Peace.” The event is supported by the Philippine Embassy, the Philippine Consulate General Dubai and the Northern Emirates, the Migrant Workers Office, Dubai Police, and the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs–Dubai (GDRFA Dubai), and is open to all nationalities.
