Emirates increases flights to Saudi Arabia for National Day weekend

Dubai’s flagship carrier, Emirates Airlines, has announced plans to add three more flights to its Riyadh route over the Saudi Arabia National Day weekend to cater to the surge in passenger traffic during the festive period.

Starting from Dubai International Airport, the additional flights will be scheduled for September 20, 21, and 24, supplementing Emirates’ current operational calendar for the duration. These extra services will be facilitated using Boeing 777 aircraft, allowing more travelers to move between the two cities efficiently during the significant national celebration.

The airline has a longstanding history with Saudi Arabia, with the first flight to the kingdom dating back to 1989. Emirates currently operates 67 flights a week servicing various cities including Riyadh, Jeddah, Medina, and Dammam, emphasizing the pivotal role the airline plays in connecting the nations.

In addition to its extensive flight services, Emirates exhibited its support for regional sports, being the prime sponsor of this year’s King Salman Cup 2023. The sponsorship not only underlines Emirates’ commitment to fostering ties but also its enthusiasm for football, bringing joy to fans of 16 top-notch regional clubs from across the Arab world.

Travelers looking to avail themselves of this increased flight schedule can book their tickets through the official Emirates website or authorized travel agents.
