Dubai-based Tajik internet sensation Abdu Rozik to tie the knot with Emirati sweetheart

Dubai-based Abdu Rozik, the diminutive internet sensation from Tajikistan, is set to embark on a new journey as he prepares to marry his Emirati fiancée from Sharjah. In an exclusive interview with Khaleej Times, Rozik expressed his excitement, stating, “I cannot imagine anything more precious than this love. I cannot wait to start my new journey in life.”

The wedding, scheduled for July 7 at an undisclosed location in the UAE, was confirmed by the International Fighting Championship Management (IFCM), Rozik’s management company. A spokesperson from IFCM conveyed their joy for Rozik, saying, “Abdu Rozik is thrilled about it. We’re all delighted for him and wish the couple the best.”

Rozik, 20, will exchange vows with his 19-year-old Emirati bride-to-be, Amira. Recounting their first meeting at Cipriani Dolci in Dubai Mall back in February, Rozik shared, “Everyday life is not easy for me and finding love seemed an even harder challenge as there are so many obstacles. But Allhamdulillah, I’ve found Amira, and she loves me for who and what I am.”

While details of the wedding celebrations remain undisclosed, IFCM revealed that it’s a love marriage, with the couple recently getting engaged.

Rozik’s journey from humble beginnings in Tajikistan to international fame has been remarkable. Overcoming childhood rickets and starting with minimal earnings, he rose to prominence as a celebrated influencer with over 8.2 million followers on Instagram. His popularity surged following his viral mixed martial arts (MMA) bout with rival Hasbulla Magomedov.

In addition to receiving the UAE Golden Visa and being crowned ‘Celebrity Influencer of the Year,’ Rozik has collaborated with renowned figures like Grammy winner AR Rahman and producer RedOne. He has also ventured into reality television, appearing as a contestant on Bigg Boss, an Indian reality show franchise.

Earlier this year, Rozik expanded his endeavors by launching the Habibi restaurant in Leeds, taking over a prominent venue in the city.
