Drizzle expected in southern UAE, temperatures to drop in the west

Residents in the southern regions of the UAE may experience light drizzle this morning accompanied by the formation of cumulus clouds, as reported by the Meteorological Department. A noticeable drop in temperatures is also anticipated in the western areas.

While most parts of the UAE will see partly cloudy skies, conditions could become dusty intermittently, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM). Winds across the country are expected to be light to moderate, but could intensify to speeds of up to 40kmph, leading to further dusty conditions.

Marine conditions will be choppy in the Arabian Gulf and range from light to moderate in the Sea of Oman, with the possibility of rough seas by nightfall.

Temperature forecasts indicate a high of 40 degrees Celsius in Abu Dhabi and 36 degrees in Dubai, with the cooler lows ranging between 25 to 27 degrees Celsius.
