Jobseekers and repatriated overseas Filipino workers displaced by the Middle East conflict will have direct access to foreign employment opportunities at a jobs fair the Department of Migrant Workers is organizing to mark the 124th Philippine Labor Day celebration.
The Overseas Mega Jobs Fair, led by the DMW’s Pre-Employment and Government Placement Bureau, is scheduled on May 1, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Robinsons Galleria in Ortigas Center, Quezon City. The event carries the Labor Day theme: “Disenteng Trabaho Para sa Lahat: Iisang Hangarin, Bagong Pilipinas Sama-samang Mararating.”
Twelve licensed recruitment agencies — four manning and eight land-based — will participate, collectively offering an estimated 3,400 vacancies across destinations including the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Croatia, Slovakia, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Guam, Papua New Guinea, and positions aboard international vessels.
Applicants are encouraged to pre-register online through the DMW job fair portal at jobfairportal.dmw.gov.ph before the event. Those with existing eRegistration accounts may log in directly, while new users can create an account by supplying basic personal information, educational background, work experience, and a preferred job category. Repatriated OFWs affected by the 2026 Middle East crisis must select “YES” on the corresponding option during registration.
Upon completing registration, applicants must generate a QR code through the portal, which serves as their job fair pass. Pre-registered applicants with QR codes will be given entry priority over walk-in applicants. Once inside the job fair area, applicants are allotted 20 minutes to submit their résumés, and must scan their pass at a terminal scanner before exiting to complete the process. Resume dropboxes will also be available on-site for those who prefer that option.
Applicants who have previously registered but cannot recall their login credentials may retrieve their job fair pass by entering their email address and birthdate on the portal.
