Actress Bea Alonzo and businessman Vincent Co have married in a private civil ceremony in Makati City, closing months of speculation over the couple’s relationship status.
Makati City Mayor Nancy Binay confirmed to the Bilyonaryo News Channel that she officiated the wedding. Binay, a former senator, offered a public glimpse of the day on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, when she posted a selfie taken with Alonzo inside the mayor’s office, captioned “Coffee w/ coffeemate.” The post did not explicitly reference a wedding, but its timing fueled online interpretation that it amounted to quiet confirmation.
According to talent manager and showbiz commentator Ogie Diaz, the ceremony took place at 7 p.m. on July 13 at Makati City Hall. In a Facebook video, Diaz said the couple exchanged vows before only a handful of witnesses, whom he identified as the owners of Secosana, the bag brand behind Alonzo’s Bash line. He said no family members from either side attended. Diaz added that he was later sent a photograph from the ceremony along with what he described as a copy of the couple’s certificate of marriage, which led him to believe the wedding had taken place. A separate source cited by Abante placed the number of guests at six, all friends of the couple.
Co, whose full name is Ferdinand Vincent Pe Co, is the president of Puregold Price Club Inc. and the eldest son of billionaire retail magnates Lucio and Susan Co. Alonzo, whose birth name is Phylbert Angelli Escalante Ranollo, is among the most prominent actresses in Philippine entertainment.
The reported wedding follows earlier accounts that the couple’s supposed nuptials in Spain, rumored for May, had been called off. A marriage bann listing the two as bride and groom had surfaced during a Lenten mass at St. Peter the Apostle Parish in Manila in March 2026, first signaling an impending marriage. As of publication, neither Alonzo nor Co had issued a statement confirming or denying the reports, and the Makati City government had released no formal announcement about the ceremony.
