Actor Baron Geisler has disclosed the existence of another daughter in a recent interview on Ogie Diaz’s vlog. The revelation came as a surprise to fans and the public, as Geisler shared insights into his personal life and the complexities of fatherhood under the spotlight.
“When I speak the truth, I speak the truth. When I lie, I lie. So I have someone out there. I have a kid out there, another one,” Geisler stated, expressing his hope to connect with his daughter once circumstances allow. Despite his current feelings of loneliness and sadness for missing out on her upbringing, Geisler finds solace in the fact that his daughter was spared from experiencing his tumultuous past.
“Happy ako na lumaki siyang hindi niya naranasan yung kapangitan ng ugali ko, kabulastugan ko. Pero, lonely and sad [ako] because I didn’t get to hug her or see her grow up, or talk to her, or play with her,” he admitted.
The “Doll House” star also mentioned that he and his wife Jamie Evangelista have met his daughter, though he chose not to divulge further details about her. He humorously noted that, unlike him, “She’s a very bright kid; hindi nagmana sa akin. Looks lang.”
Geisler’s journey to fatherhood and personal rehabilitation has been public, especially after meeting Jamie Evangelista in a rehabilitation center where he sought treatment for drug addiction. The couple married in September 2019 and welcomed their daughter Talitha Cumi, affectionately called Tali, on January 28, 2020.
