A string of public kisses between Claudine Barretto and Pepe Herrera has set social media abuzz, with audiences now questioning whether the two actors are involved off-screen.
The moment unfolded at the premiere of “Home Along Da Riles: Da Reunion,” held June 15 at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong. According to Inquirer, the pair were mingling with attendees inside the theater when they locked lips without warning. That first kiss gave way to a more lingering one, capped by a dip kiss staged in full view of the crowd and the cameras trained on them.
Clips of the exchange spread rapidly across social platforms, drawing a flood of mixed reactions. Some who saw the footage chalked it up to publicity for the film, which opened in cinemas June 17. Others were less convinced, reading the encounter as a sign of something genuine between the two.
“Para sa movie nila yan today ilalabas,” wrote one commenter. Another fired back with disbelief: “SILA NA BA KAILAN PA NAGING SILA?” A third simply reacted, “Pumaldo!”
