ABLE UK offers 30-hour ABA mentoring program for practitioners and credential candidates

Practitioners looking to strengthen their hands-on skills in applied behavior analysis now have a structured route to do so. ABLE UK — Advanced Behavioral Learning Environment — is running a 30-hour Applied Behavior Analysis Mentoring Program built around practical application rather than theory alone.

The program is designed for people already working within the field: professionals applying ABA principles, practitioners after more advanced practical training, and fieldwork candidates pursuing BCBA, BCaBA, ABAT, QASP-S, or QBA credentials. Rather than a lecture-only format, the mentoring runs through live session observations, collaborative learning, applied practice, and interactive discussions.

Across the 30 hours, participants work through verbal behavior, discrete trial training, and natural environment teaching. The curriculum also covers an introduction to function-based behavior reduction, along with data collection and data-based clinical decision making — the analytical side that underpins sound casework.

Three practitioners lead the mentoring. Robin P. Vergara, M.A., BCaBA, IBA, QBA, is Medical Director at ABLE UK and founder of The Behaviour Essentials. With more than 13 years in the field, he works across behavior analysis, individualized behavior support, advanced assessments including VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R and PEAK, training, supervision, and IEP coordination.

Mervin Javier is a Qualified Behavior Analyst (QBA) and International Behavior Analyst (IBA), holding a Bachelor’s in Special Education and a Master’s in ABA and Autism. His 8-plus years of experience span IEPs, ABA assessments such as VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R and PEAK, outreach, and professional training.

Sarah Amin is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst through the BACB and an International Behavior Analyst (IBA). She holds a Bachelor’s in Clinical Psychology and an MSc in Applied Psychology from Middlesex University, Dubai, and is certified in ADOS-2, CLM, and Humanistic Integrative Counselling. She provides training for therapists, parents, and professionals.

Enrollment is set at AED 6,000. Under an exclusive offer, presenting the program flyer brings the fee down to AED 5,000.
