You could win AED 20,000 in vouchers at Dubai’s largest mango festival this May

Dubai’s largest fresh food destination is marking the summer season with the return of one of its most popular annual events, as the Mangolicious Festival draws visitors through the end of May with a mix of global produce, family activities, and shopping rewards.

Running daily from 10am to 10pm until May 31, the festival at Waterfront Market in Deira showcases mango varieties sourced from across seven countries — India, Thailand, Peru, South Africa, Kenya, Yemen, and Pakistan. Among the featured varieties are Alphonso, Nam Dok Mai, Osteen, Sabri, Ngowe, and the regionally popular Taimoor, with Pakistani selections such as Chaunsa expected to arrive later in the season.

Shoppers who spend a minimum of AED 50 are eligible to enter the Mango Guess & Win competition, which offers up to AED 20,000 worth of fresh produce vouchers. Participating customers also receive a complimentary daily mango juice pop, provided in partnership with Barakat. Separate from the competition, complimentary food tastings by market retailers are scheduled during the Eid Al Adha period.

Mohammad AlMadani, Associate Director Senior Centre Manager at Waterfront Market, described the festival as an expression of the market’s broader mission. “The Mangolicious Festival is a vibrant celebration of fresh food, global flavours, and Waterfront Market’s position as Dubai’s leading destination for premium produce and market experiences. As the UAE’s largest mango festival, we are incredibly proud to bring together an exceptional variety of mangoes from around the world, giving our customers a unique opportunity to discover, taste, and experience the richness of this beloved fruit all in one place,” he said.

AlMadani added that the event is also intended to support trade networks: “The festival reflects Waterfront Market’s commitment to strengthening Dubai’s fresh food landscape by connecting consumers with high-quality produce, supporting regional food trade, and showcasing the diversity and excellence of fresh products available through the market and our traders.”

The market, which hosts over 800 traders and carries one of the widest fresh produce selections in the UAE, is positioned in Deira throughout the festival’s duration.
