PH gov’t brings one-stop OFW Serbisyo Caravan to Kuwait this December

Government agencies from the Philippines will converge in Kuwait next month to deliver frontline services directly to overseas workers through the Bagong Bayani ng Mundo: OFW Serbisyo Caravan, a two-day initiative taking place on December 5–6 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Farwaniya. A follow-up service day is also scheduled on December 7 at the Philippine Embassy in Sabah Al Salem.

The activity is part of the national directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to bring government assistance closer to Filipinos abroad through coordinated, whole-of-government efforts designed as a one-stop service hub.

Rather than focusing on a single office, the caravan will gather 10 government agencies in one venue. Among those participating are the Department of Social Welfare and Development, Social Security System, Pag-IBIG Fund, Philippine Statistics Authority, Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, Land Transportation Office, Landbank, Philippine Embassy, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, and the Department of Migrant Workers–MWO.

A wide range of transactions will be available on-site, including national ID applications; requests for birth, marriage, or death certificates; CENOMAR issuance; civil registration; PhilHealth membership processing; GoBayani account assistance; contract verification; OWWA membership applications and e-card issuance; and various consular services.

OFWs planning to participate are advised to secure a slot through the designated QR code for pre-registration.
