The UAE has secured a place among the top four countries worldwide in traffic safety per 100,000 people, underscoring the effectiveness of its national road safety strategies and policies.
The achievement was highlighted during a meeting of the Ministry of Interior’s Happiness and Positivity Council, led by Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, at the ministry’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
Council members reviewed ongoing projects and initiatives designed to raise government performance, improve readiness, and advance public safety. The discussions covered progress in key performance indicators, road safety programs, community awareness campaigns, and future plans aimed at strengthening overall security and well-being across the country.
The meeting emphasized the ministry’s commitment to building a safe and positive environment in line with the vision of the UAE leadership.
