The familiar voices of two of TAG 91.1’s most popular personalities are not going anywhere after all. Following emotional farewells that sparked speculation of back-to-back exits, it has now been confirmed that Johnny Biryani and Keri Belle are simply switching time slots in a major program reshuffle at the Filipino radio station in Dubai.
Johnny moves to mornings, Keri takes the afternoon slot
Johnny Biryani, whose real name is Kenneth Aglubo, is now waking up the UAE’s Filipino community as part of the morning show TAG Gising Na, airing weekdays from 5 AM to 10 AM alongside Maria Maldita. Known for his humor, energy, and quick wit, Johnny has been a staple of the station since 2018, previously co-hosting the evening drive-time show Tag Pack Up Na.
The move marks a new chapter for Johnny, who earlier this year hinted at growth and “better opportunities” in his career. His chemistry with Maria Maldita—already tested and proven from their years on Tag Pack Up Na—is expected to bring a lively mix of banter, trending stories, and entertainment to early morning listeners. As TAG 91.1 described in its announcement: “The tandem we failed to separate. Nasa kanila talaga ang tunay na unity!”
Meanwhile, Keri Belle, long recognized as the energetic wake-up call of TAG Gising Na with co-host Bluebird, now headlines TAG Pack Up Na with Kristy Nola from 4 PM to 9 PM. Keri, who built her reputation on her razor-sharp humor and infectious laugh, brings her signature style to afternoons, ensuring that Filipinos on their drive home continue to be entertained and connected.
Not departures, but fresh beginnings
The shuffle clears up earlier confusion when both Johnny and Keri posted emotional goodbyes on Instagram, leading fans to believe they were leaving the station altogether. Johnny wrote about wrapping up his “final show” in August, while Keri’s “SALAMAT. HANGGANG SA MULI” post weeks later fueled speculation of resignations.
Instead, these posts were part of a transition as TAG 91.1 reorganized its lineup to give listeners a refreshed mix of voices at different times of the day.
