Emirates has taken a major step in strengthening its ties with the Philippines by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the country’s Department of Tourism during the Arabian Travel Market (ATM).
Under the new agreement, Emirates and the Philippines will collaborate on a range of marketing efforts aimed at attracting more tourists, particularly from the Middle East and Europe. The partnership will include advertising campaigns, promotional activities, and familiarization trips for media and key travel industry players to highlight the Philippines’ vibrant culture and attractions.
The move is part of Emirates’ broader initiative to drive tourism growth worldwide, as it signed a total of eight MoUs at ATM with tourism boards from Sharjah, Maldives, Britain, Thailand, Japan, Uganda, and Hungary. Through these partnerships, Emirates aims to connect more travelers to exciting destinations across its network of over 140 cities.
