Cebu Pacific moves Masbate and Siargao flights from Manila to Clark starting March

Cebu Pacific announced it will shift its Masbate and Siargao flights from Manila to Clark International Airport beginning March 30, 2025. The move aligns with the government’s directive to transfer turboprop plane operations to Clark or other secondary airports to ease congestion at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Flights previously departing from Manila to Masbate (DG 6177/6178) and Siargao (DG 6837/6838, DG 6839/6840, and DG 6841/6842) will be redirected to Clark under new flight codes DG 6171/6172 and DG 6759/6760, DG 6761/6762, respectively. Direct services from Manila to Surigao will also be canceled, with passengers advised to connect via Cebu instead.

Cebu Pacific Chief Strategy Officer Alex Reyes stated on TeleRadyo Serbisyo that affected passengers have the option to rebook for free within 30 days, store their payment in a travel fund, or request a full refund. He also revealed plans to relocate all turboprop operations from Manila by October 2025, except for subsidiary AirSWIFT, which will continue operating from NAIA until March 2026.

Turboprop planes, which accommodate around 60 passengers, are commonly used for regional flights to smaller Philippine destinations such as Camiguin, Siargao, and Masbate.
