UP law graduate tops 2024 Bar examinations with highest score

Kyle Christian Tutor, a graduate of the University of the Philippines (UP) College of Law, emerged as the topnotcher of the 2024 Bar examinations, scoring an impressive 85.7700%, the Supreme Court announced on Friday.

Out of 10,490 applicants who completed the three-day exams held on September 8, 11, and 15, a total of 3,962 passed, marking a passing rate of 37.84%. The passing grade was set at 74%, slightly higher than last year’s 3,812 passers.

The University of the Philippines dominated the list of topnotchers, with four graduates making it to the Top 10. Ateneo de Manila University followed with two representatives, while one each came from Angeles University Foundation, University of Mindanao, Western Mindanao State University, and San Beda University.
