Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced temporary adjustments to bus routes between Dubai and Abu Dhabi from November 29 to December 3, coinciding with the expected holiday rush.
The E100 route, which typically operates from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station, will instead depart from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi during this period. Additionally, the E102 route will also run from Ibn Battuta Bus Station, heading to Mussafah Shabiya Bus Station in Abu Dhabi.
For added convenience, commuters can opt for taxis, including a newly launched taxi-sharing service between Dubai and Abu Dhabi. This pilot initiative aims to cut travel costs by up to 75%.
In line with enhancing connectivity, the RTA is also introducing three new bus routes starting Friday, November 29. Among them is Route 108, which will link Satwa Bus Station to Global Village. This route will operate on weekends, public holidays, and during special events, with service hours from 2 PM to 1 AM and a 60-minute frequency.
The other two new additions, Route F63 and Route J05, will further expand RTA’s offerings to meet the growing demand during the busy period.
