Filipino wheelchair racer Jerrold Mangliwan has secured a spot in the finals of the men’s 400m-T52 event at the 2024 Paris Paralympics.
Competing under rainy conditions at the Stade de France on Friday, Mangliwan clocked a time of 1:05.79, placing fourth in his heat and seventh overall in the first round.
The top three finishers from each of the two heats, along with the next two fastest racers, earned spots in the finals. Mangliwan will race in the finals on Saturday at 1 a.m.
