The United Architects of the Philippines (UAP) Oman Chapter is gearing up for its Induction Ceremony of newly elected officers and members on August 30, 2025, signaling a new phase in its mission to elevate the Filipino architectural community in the Sultanate.
Guided by UAP National President Ar. Jonathan “Joey” Manalad, the incoming leadership embraces the theme “Movers of Progress” — a pledge to uphold justice to the profession, champion visionary initiatives, and empower members through meaningful programs and opportunities.
Incoming Chapter President Ar. Charisse B. de Leon shared her vision ahead of the event. “As we embark on this new chapter, may we continue to rise together — building a just, visionary, and empowered UAP Oman Chapter. I look forward to leading with purpose, serving with integrity, and inspiring each other to achieve greater heights,” she said.

The incoming Executive Committee includes Ar. Jim Beam A. Zacarias (VP for Programs & Development), Ar. John Lee DL Galang (VP for Operations), Ar. Maria Lourdes V. Evangelista (Secretary), Ar. Edna M. Espiritu (Treasurer), Ar. Jaymour M. Ablaza (Auditor), and Ar. Zeny Liz B. Gutierrez (Immediate Past President).
Serving on the Board of Directors for FY 2025-2026 are Ar. Jemicel A. Sodsod (Committee on Education), Ar. Leopoldo V. Sandoval (Committee on External Affairs), Ar. Edrandi M. Concepcion (Committee on Internal Affairs), Ar. Randie L. Garcia (Committee on Professional Development), Ar. Lester A. De Leon (Committee on Sports), Ar. Richard S. Corpuz (Committee on Resilient Architects), Ar. Loren Jane C. Falsis (Committee on Ways & Means), Ar. Michael V. Rañola (Protocol Director), and Ar. Roe Anne V. Gonzales (Committee on Communications & Creatives).
