Private sector employees will be given a paid holiday on Friday, September 29, 2023, granting them a three-day weekend as it precedes the regular off-days on Saturday and Sunday.
The extended weekend allows residents to partake in a three-day period of rest and rejuvenation, coinciding with the celebrations marking the auspicious occasion.
This aligns the holiday with that of the public sector, providing a harmonious period for all to commemorate the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him).
As the year progresses, it is noteworthy that this occasion marks the last long weekend for the year 2023.
