The entrepreneur who built a digital agency from a college OJT and never looked back

Mike Dayao is a Filipino entrepreneur, marketing strategist, and business builder known for turning real-world experience into scalable ventures. As CEO of both Munc Digital and Kyodo Spaces, he sits at the intersection of B2B marketing and the future of flexible work.

Mike’s journey started far from the boardroom — he began his career as a visual effects artist in film and television production, with credits that include the Philippine film Maybe This Time.

But his real calling was sales. He went on to sell insurance at Manulife and real estate at Filinvest, developing the commercial instincts that would eventually define his businesses.

Munc Digital was born out of a College of St. Benilde OJT program where Mike and his team competed to land real clients — and landed Marco Polo Ortigas and BDO among others.

What started as website design grew alongside social media, and the agency found its stride serving SMEs, startups, and B2B brands across industries. Even through the pandemic, Munc kept growing.

Kyodo Spaces came from a more personal place. Watching his own team commute two hours each way just to show up to an office, Mike decided there had to be a better way. In 2023, he opened Kyodo Spaces inside Robinsons Magnolia — a coworking and virtual office hub designed for the modern business.

An alumnus of La Salle Green Hills and UA&P, Mike is an active member of BNI, the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), and serves as Vice President of JCI San Juan Pinaglabanan — building the kind of business community he wishes he had when he was starting out.

Today, Mike positions himself as a go-to voice on B2B marketing, entrepreneurship, and PR strategy — someone who built quietly for years and is now ready to share what works.
