Singapore Airlines CEO offers condolences after passenger dies in turbulence

In a video message posted on Wednesday, Singapore Airlines CEO Goh Choon Phong expressed his condolences to the family and loved ones of a passenger who died following heavy turbulence on a flight from London to Singapore.

Reuters reports that Goh conveyed the airline’s deep sadness over the incident and apologized for the traumatic experience passengers faced onboard flight SQ321.

“Our priority is to render all possible assistance to our passengers and crew members,” Goh said in the video posted on the airline’s Facebook page.

The airline is actively cooperating with authorities in their investigations and will continue to provide updates via its social media channels.
