Multiple vehicles parked at the extension parking area of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 were engulfed in flames on Monday, as reported by Nimfa Ravelo on Super Radyo dzBB.
The Pasay Fire Bureau is currently investigating the cause of the fire, while authorities are ensuring there were no injuries resulting from the incident.
Despite the blaze, operations at NAIA’s terminals remain unaffected, according to the Manila International Airport Authority.
The fire incident coincided with soaring heat index levels across the country, with PAGASA warning of temperatures reaching as high as 42°C to 45°C in some areas.
