The Filipino Social Club (FILSOC) Dubai is accepting applications for the Philippine Festival Queen Competition 2026, a cultural pageant set to take place during the 128th Philippine Independence Day celebration on June 13, 2026, at Sheikh Saeed Hall 1 of the Dubai World Trade Center.
The competition is open to Filipino women residing in the UAE, aged 18 to 29, and aims to celebrate the richness of Philippine festivals through creative costumes, performances, and cultural advocacy. Each candidate will represent a recognized Philippine festival — such as Sinulog, Ati-Atihan, MassKara, or Kadayawan, among others — with festival selections subject to organizer approval to avoid duplication.
Candidates will be judged across three segments: a Festival Costume Presentation, a Production Number, and a Question and Answer Portion covering Philippine culture, community involvement, leadership, and Filipino values. The costume segment will be scored on creativity, cultural representation, stage presence, and audience impact, while the Q&A will assess content, confidence, and relevance.
The Philippine Festival Queen 2026 will receive a cash prize of AED 3,000, a crown, sash, trophy, and bouquet of flowers. The 1st Runner-Up takes home AED 2,000 and the 2nd Runner-Up, AED 1,000. Special awards including Best in Festival Costume, Miss Photogenic, Miss Congeniality, People’s Choice, and Best in Festival Opening Presentation will also be given out.
Applicants must submit a completed application form, a copy of their passport or Emirates ID, and one full-body photo. All participants are required to be available for rehearsals, official appearances, and competition schedules.
