Vice President Sara Duterte extended her heartfelt greetings to Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) on the occasion of its 111th founding anniversary, praising the group’s leadership and spiritual impact on the nation.
In a message posted on social media on Sunday, Duterte commended INC Executive Minister Eduardo V. Manalo for his steadfast leadership. She expressed admiration for his role in promoting unity, understanding, and faith amid diverse ideologies in society.
“Nais kong ipaabot ang aking pagbati at pasasalamat kay Ka Eduardo V. Manalo sa kanyang kahanga-hangang pamumuno at sa kadalisayan ng kanyang puso sa pagsusulong ng pagkakaisa, pagkakaunawaan, at pananampalataya,” Duterte said.
She also acknowledged the church’s enduring commitment to national well-being, thanking its members for their prayers and support for peace and order in the Philippines.
“Maraming salamat sa ating mga kapatid sa katatagan ng inyong paniniwala sa Diyos at pagmamahal sa ating bansa,” she added.
Duterte further encouraged INC followers to continue living out their faith through daily actions inspired by God’s teachings, highlighting that such devotion strengthens the nation’s moral foundation.
