Passenger arrested at NAIA after allegedly watching porn on phone during LA flight

A man faces an unjust vexation complaint after being taken into custody upon landing at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 following a flight from Los Angeles, California.

The 63-year-old suspect drew complaints from a fellow passenger over his behavior during the flight, which included repeatedly shaking his leg in a manner the complainant found disruptive.

More serious concerns emerged when the suspect was found allegedly viewing pornographic content on his mobile phone without any attempt to conceal the screen — making it visible to nearby passengers, including at least one minor.

When confronted about what was on his phone, the suspect argued that what he was watching was a private matter, then offered an apology.

Authorities were waiting at NAIA upon arrival, and the suspect was arrested. He now faces charges of unjust vexation.
